Scientific, academic and industry career focused on oncology, immuno-oncology, hemato-oncology and biological therapies for inflammatory diseases and rheumatology, including personalized medicine, molecular and cellular biomarkers. 
Holds a tenured Professorship of Immunology at the University of Leon, Spain, currently on leave. Received his PhD from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany and his medical degree from the University of Salamanca, Spain. Former associate professor at the Faculties of Medicine in the University of Munich, Germany, and University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Member of several scientific and medical societies, including ASCO, ASH, ESMO, DIA and SITC. Author and co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and medical articles.  research articles .
